Abundance Chart - Representation of Bagua1

Green is an excellent color to put in the Family area (Gua).   Body part of the Family Gua is the foot.  The family is the foundation of where you are headed, but of course, other influences, such as your own genes, spirit, background, and experience all play into your abundance cycles.

Good  J Bad  L
Green  White Things
Column-shaped Candles Metal
Wood-burning fireplace Guns
Tree - Plant - Wood Round things
Gifts from family (at least, the ones you want) China or other breakables
Wood & Columnar objects Limp or dying trees
Undulating or Black are creative items Blue or Black colors
Rectangular, columnar, vertical shapes Anything detracting from a happy family life
Family Photos Red
Family crest or credo Anything torn, old or needing mending

You want Green to represent wood here.  Family photo frames with wood are a good idea.  I also have several candles in this area of my front room.  Gifts from family often go on a mantle, here, too..  It is helpful to have light or candles here, too.  A candle, next to a plant, on top of a wood chest (perhaps with a family quilt) would all work.  A wood framed-bed is also good - but not a metal frame.  Metal cuts wood, so we'd suggest avoiding metal framed beds in this area of the room or house.

It is also ok to have things like bamboo, wood-burning fireplaces, column-shaped candles, rectangular objects.

You do not want  metal things in this part of a room/house.  The metal cuts the wood and is destructive in this case.  Avoid guns (obvious).  Also, avoid white.  An exception to avoiding white might be if you wanted to create more in your family, in which you might add white and red combined, such as ribbons tied together to represent a baby you are "trying" for.
