It's best to avoid starting important new projects or making major

during these times. "Business as usual" is the best strategy for these
periods, which occur when the Moon has made its last major Ptolemaic

February, a slowly separating Saturn-Pluto
square asks
us to release all structures that have outlived their usefulness. If in

2/2 (Tue). Relationship
stress is a possibility as Venus
makes minor hard angles to Saturn (a
135-degree sesquiquadrate) and
Pluto (a 45-degree
semi-square). But facing any such challenges with an openness to
positive transformation (Pluto) and the creation of more balanced and
harmonious relational structures (Saturn in Libra) can help you emerge
with your relationship in even better shape!
2/5 (Fri). Business
matters may require adjustment as the two “social” planets – Jupiter
and Saturn, which are central to business astrology – form a 150-degree
quincunx. And since Jupiter (religion, philosophy and ideals) is in
Pisces (divine union), it's also a good time to evaluate whether your
approach to “life, the universe and everything” is giving you the
consistent access to ecstatic bliss and intuitive guidance that is every
human's birthright.
2/6 (Sat). Receiving
intuitive flashes (Uranus) – especially regarding practical affairs (sextile
Mercury in Capricorn) – is supported now.
With Jupiter
sextile Pluto, generating wealth is empowered thru the 20th, but
strongest around the 6th – especially if you use the Law of Attraction.
This aspect can also empower your spiritual growth, but beware of
getting your ego caught in the One True Path Syndrome!
2/7 (Sun). Taking
an innovative approach to relationships, finance and creativity could
help heal old wounds in these areas (Venus conjunct Chiron in Aquarius).
This aspect is also ideal for mentorship and one-on-one healing
modalities – especially those outside the mainstream!
2/8 (Mon). Personal
creativity and divine inspiration blend as Venus
conjuncts Neptune. (Neptune is Venus' higher octave.) This is also an
ideal energy for blending with other beings on the soul level, or
merging into divine bliss. But also beware of overidealizing a
relationship or getting suckered financially!
2/9 (Tue). industrious
creativity and practical inspirations to improve relationships are
enhanced with Venus
biquintile Saturn.
2/10 (Wed). Mercury
is in Aquarius today through
3/1, a good time for receiving intuitive flashes and exploring the
unconventional.
If you
find that your anger or aggression are getting out of hand, redirect the
energy of the Mars-Jupiter
quincunx (in Leo and Pisces)
into exercise, physical activity, robust creative expression or sacred
sexuality.
2/11 (Thu). With Venus
in Pisces today through 3/6,
all the opportunities and cautions described on 2/8 also apply (albeit
less intensely).
2/12 (Fri). Don't
let the violence and rage gremlins get you – they'll be out in force
withLeonine Mars quincunx Pluto! Focus on creativity, sex or exercise
instead.
With Mercury
trine Saturn, an energized but steady mental focus is also in the air –
possibly peppered with the occasional flash of insight!
2/13 (Sat). We're
certainly getting our share of challenging transits this week:
withMercury opposing Mars, arguments are a definite possibility. Putting
that fiery Martian energy into harmonious and productive communication
channels will make it happier!
February's New
Moon is
on the 13th at 9:51 pm (26° Aquarius) – time for new beginnings in
individuation, ingenuity, group involvement and “letting your freak flag
fly”! With the Moon and Sun
tightly conjunct Neptune and Chiron, initiation or re-energizing of
spiritual healing, mentoring and divine union are also powerfully
supported.
This New Moon's Sabian
Symbol is, “A
garage man testing a car's battery with a hydrometer.” So
how charged up is your power source? Given this New Moon's energies, it
would seem to suggest that drawing power directly from the divine is a
great way to keep your battery's power cells topped up!
2/14 (Sun). Valentine's
Day offers the potential for
both significant discord (Venus quincunx Saturn and Mars), as well as
deep healing and ecstatic soul union (Sun conjunct Chiron and Neptune).
What you experience will have a lot to do with whether you've dealt with
any unresolved conflicts before the big day arrives!

sexuality is beautifully supported around the 15th.
Valentine's Day two days later? With the powerful relationship spotlight
